Rich Grosso
Rich Grosso was a talented up and coming actor and stand-up comedian and filmmaker all through the 90’s when he had to abruptly abandon his dreams when tragedy struck. Being a newlywed and a brand-new Dad at 30 Rich realized that for some reason, this new baby of his wanted to eat 3 times a day and not be homeless. So, Rich put his dreams away and got a real job. Fast forward several years later, Rich, now a failed business owner with 2 divorces, 3 bankruptcies and a beautiful healthy millennial under his belt, was curious to see if he still had what it takes to become a successful actor and stand-up comedian and filmmaker.
After a long hiatus Rich first restarted his acting career in 2013 and the Universe seemed to be responsive. Recent television credits include NBC’s Sunnyside, and AP Bio, CBS’s Young Sheldon and 2 Broke Girls, HBO’s Euphoria, ABC’s Speechless and the final season of Shameless on Showtime. Most recently Rich finished Pam and Tommy a limited series for Hulu opposite Seth Rogen (Knocked Up) and Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) which dropped February 2022 and Rich can also be seen in the 4th season of Miracle Workers – End Times on TBS opposite Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter)
In 2017 Rich had the bright idea of returning to the world of stand-up comedy. And the Universe spoke once again. Since returning to stand-up, Rich has graced the stages of The Hollywood Improv, The Los Angeles and La Jolla Comedy Store, The Las Vegas, and Reno Laugh Factory, and has been a regular at The HaHa Café, The Comedy Chateau both in North Hollywood and Flappers in Burbank. Rich has also been well received working with or opening for marquee Headliners like Bret Ernst, Jamie Kennedy, Whitney Cummings, Erik Griffin, Michael Rappaport, Bobby Collins, and Eddie Ifft to name a few. Also look out for Rich’s first ever stand-up comedy special, The High School Reunion Comedy Show due out in 2023. Rich brings his hilarious East Coast sensibilities while delivering stories centered around his life, his family, aging, shortcomings and growing up in New Jersey. Which one might guess is quite possibly one of his many shortcomings!
